Our goal: help Romanian pharmaceutical industry to use state-of-the-art in science and technology for manufacturing high quality drug products.

The way:

1. develop a driven knowledge platform in pharmaceutical development;
2. provide the scientific basis in pharmaceutical development for fundamental understanding of product and process
3. create tomorrow’s workforce by sharing experience and knowledge trough master program in pharmaceutical industry, collaborative project and  mentoring;
4. provide tailored solution to fit the pharmaceutical industry needs in reducing costs and time in marketing release of high quality drug products.

 

The fields of interest:

1. pharmaceutical process and product design and development by a rational and science-based approach in accordance with QbD framework;
2. development and validation high-throughput PAT tools (i.e. Raman and NIR spectroscopic methods) for in-line/online monitoring of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes or qualitative and quantitative analysis of pharmaceutical dosage forms and intermediaries;
3. optimization of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes trough DoE: wet granulation, compression, coating, freeze-drying, etc;
4. development of new dosage forms prepared by innovative methods and related technologies (ie. freeze-drying, 3D printing, solvent-casting etc.) with systemic, local and targeted drug delivery and tailored biopharmaceutical/pharmacokinetic properties.
